Day 24-Friday (Davidson, NC) 6/14/13

Posted by CJ LD on

Friday is the big day so we all wake up and have breakfast then head out to run errands. The first stop is the local retail clothes store. There, we pick out brand new clothes for the event. For me… a hat and a pair of new jeans were all I needed.  After shopping we go out to lunch at a local New York Italian place that sells authentic NY style pizza. We work our way from west to east and around 2pm make our way through the Boston University campus then see the world famous Fenway Park baseball field appear out of nowhere.  As we continue to drive we find a...

As we start to wake up, we realize that it’s raining and that we are still both really tired so we go back to sleep. 2 hours later, we repeat this process 3 or 4 times until it finally stops raining around 8pm. By then we’ve missed out on visiting any bicycle shops so we decide to start the drive to Boston. As we start to drive the rain starts to pick back up and eventually there is a downpour across the road as we navigate our way though the New York highways at 3am. As drive through New York...
